ELLENSBURG RIVER AND PARKS WALK
Enjoy a walk through 3 city parks and a few quiet residential blocks. The walk starts with a shady walk along the Yakima River and around Carey Lakes. After a short trail crossing under I-90, the trail follows a wetlands area along a dike and goes by the sport fields of Rotary Park. Take a short trail through shady West Ellensburg Park and then return to the start with a different trail through Rotary Park and then back along the Yakima River.
Dogs, on leash, are allowed on this walk. Rotary Park has a new fenced dog park where they can run free and a separate beach area at Carey Lakes.
